A Message from Darwin Kealey, Third Vice-President of the Ontario PC Party

Our Party believes reaching out and listening to Ontarians is the best way to give the people of this province the trust and accountability they are looking for in their MPPs.

Currently, we have a policy development process in place that reaches out to grassroots members, allowing them to participate and discuss the issues concerning Ontario.

This process allows us to consult frequently and regularly with the party membership to produce a platform that reflects the principles and priorities of the PC Party of Ontario; that is relevant and addresses the concerns of the citizens of Ontario; that is distinct from the Liberals – a choice not an echo that, once implemented, will return Ontario to its rightful place as the crown jewel of Confederation.

The Policy Advisory Councils (PACs) have been re-established as one way for Party members to participate in this policy development process. The PACs act as an advisory body for the Party, to provide input on the policy discussions happening, examine policy options, report back to Party membership on the results of the discussions held, and make recommendations based on those discussions.

With the help of the PACs and our entire policy development process, our Party in 2011 will be able to give Ontario the leadership and accountability they are looking for in their provincial government.
